Talies ("the App").

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.

The App is a parent-guided story maker for families. It does not require any personal information from children and does not include advertising or behavioral tracking. Adults create accounts and generate bedtime stories/illustrations to read with their children. The app is not for child-managed accounts.

2. Information We Collect

The App itself does not collect personal data such as names, addresses, or payment details.

However, some third-party services integrated into the App may collect limited technical or anonymous data necessary for the app to function properly:

Supabase

Purpose: Account authentication, story and image storage

Data Collected: Email (for login), user ID, and uploaded content

Google Gemini

Purpose: AI story and image generation

Data Collected: Story text and image prompts (no personal info)

Google Play / Apple App Store

Purpose: Distributes the App and processes payments

Data Collected: Device and purchase info per their own privacy policies

RevenueCat

Purpose: Subscription management and purchase validation

Data Collected: Purchase history (product IDs, subscription status, receipts/transaction IDs), app-specific user ID, entitlement/credit balance metadata, and basic device/app information required for purchase validation

3. How We Use Information

Data collected through third-party providers is used only to:

Authenticate your account and save your stories,
Generate stories and illustrations with AI,
Manage subscriptions, one-time purchases, and associated usage credits,
Improve the stability and user experience of the App.

No data is sold, shared, or used for advertising.

4. Children's Privacy

This App is designed for use by parents.

No personal information is knowingly collected from children.

Do not upload photos showing a child's face or other identifiers.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the Google Play Store.

Talies does not directly collect or store payment information.

Subscription status, renewals, cancellations, and associated usage credits are managed via RevenueCat, which receives purchase and entitlement information from the app stores to ensure access to paid features.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@talies.app.

All stored content (stories, heroes, and images) will be permanently deleted from Supabase within 30 days of confirmation. We will also delete the associated RevenueCat customer record linked to your app-specific user ID and revoke entitlements.
